The true mettle of a nonprofit organization is tested in challenging times. Since March 2020, when the pandemic was declared, Sierra Roots has expanded our reach to better meet the pressing needs of homeless people in and around Nevada City. We have also partnered with Nevada County’s HOME Team, Hospitality House, and other nonprofits to better serve homeless people in all of western Nevada County.
