Mono County Social Services Department - Walker

Provides financial assistance to adults who have no means of support. Eligible adults may receive direct payments to their landlords and/or utility companies. Relief may also include a voucher for food and hygiene items. Unless disabled, participants must search for employment to maintain benefits. Recipients may also be eligible for Medi-Cal and CalFresh benefits. General Assistance payments are considered a loan, and must be repaid.
