Salvation Army Haven Program

• Shelter for Homeless Veterans (Male & Female) (Short Term – 14 days)
• Hygiene care kit, Hot Meals, Showers, Bed, Linens, and a Locker is provided for each veteran.
• Support Groups (Recovery, Mental Health Issues, Sober Living, Community Resources) (Must provide proof of service)
• Personal Financial Counseling (Housing Search Assistance, Personal Financial Counseling, Job Search/Placement)
• Rent Deposit Assistance (To be eligible, veterans must have been discharged under conditions other than dishonorable, have an income below 50% of the area median income, and be homeless or at imminent risk of losing their housing)
• Residential Alcoholism & Drug Treatment Facilities (The Victory Place Program provides services for up to 95 United States veterans) (Veterans develop individual treatment plans that include secondary services such as treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder, anger management, employment preparation and counseling, life skills education, drug and alcohol education, and health and fitness classes.) (Veterans may stay at the facility for up to 24 months, although most stay for 12 months)
• Transitional Housing/Shelter (Targets Female Veterans) (The Naomi House Program provides transitional housing/shelter services to 15 female veterans) (The program offers individual assessments, case management, substance abuse treatment and psycho-educational groups for female veterans who are diagnosed with Military Sexual Trauma or are dual diagnosed) (Individuals may stay up to 24 months although the average stay is 12 months)
